About Emerald Care Rides

Before Emerald Care Rides, we worked in medical transportation, and we learned there that riders and their families want a patient driver and a ride they can depend on.

We started this company to build a business that grows by helping people. For us that means being supportive and kind on every ride, whether it's a routine checkup or a long day of treatment.

Why "Emerald"

Tallahassee is not far from the Emerald Coast, known for its clear water and white sand. The name is a familiar one around here, and we chose it because this is home.

Why Families Choose Emerald Care Rides

Trained Drivers.

Every driver is background checked and trained in CPR and first aid, defensive driving, and patient privacy.

Pickup From the Hospital Room.

Going home from the hospital is tiring enough. For a discharge, we come up to the room, so no one has to make their way down to the curb alone.

A Proper Hand-Off.

Some riders shouldn't be left on their own, especially riders with dementia. Tell us ahead of time, and we'll stay until a nurse or family member is with them.

Need a ride for someone who shouldn't travel alone? We'd be glad to help.
